Confirmation Emails Not Sending (3)

Running WordPress 3.9.2 – Event Expresso 3.1.36.5.P – New Install – http://heart-cryforrevival.org/registration/

We are having a difficult time getting the confirmation email to be sent out. I have trolled a number of the support tickets related to this issue and have had no luck. Could you direct me in the right direction?

It’s typically difficult to pin down problems with email because there are so many layers to it. EE hands the email sending off to WP. WP by default then hands it off to php, which then hands it off to whatever mail handler is set up on the server (sendmail, for example), which then sends it to the server specified in the dns record, and down the chain it goes. The only part that EE has any control over is that first link in the chain, which is why we recommend some kind of email logging, using Mandrill, etc.
Are you using an SMTP plugin or an email logging plugin? You really want something set up that generates a record of the outgoing mail, so that you can quickly rule out spam filtering, etc, that is on the receiver end.
