Confirmation email from registrant to event host available?

I am taking over the maintenance of a site that currently has EE lite. Does it or the paid versions offer confirmation emails from the person registering for the event to the event host? My clients would like to get an email when someone registers for the class they offer instead of having to go into the site and check.

Hi Kate–

Both the free and paid versions of the plugin should send a confirmation email to both the attendee and the site administrator. I say should because not all hosts have the email server configured correctly and occasionally using a third-party plugin like WP SMTP to route your outgoing email through a different SMTP server (like Gmail) is required to get the email working. The admin emails should go to whatever email address is configured in the WordPress General Settings page.
