Conference with several events

Hi there

I am looking for a tool for WordPress where I can add a master event that doesn’t have a register function as it contains just the overall description. Under this master event I need serveral sub-events that also take place at the same timeframes sometimes. Participants can register for the sub-events and pay for each sub-event – not the whole master event.
Everybody can just book for himself – so I don’t need multiple tickets for each event.
Is this possible with the multiple event addon?

Thanks a lot for clarifying.
Warmest

There isn’t a “master event” functionality built-in, but it sounds like you can achieve what you want by using Categories. You can create a “master event” category with the description, then attach that category to each of your sub-events. Finally, create a page or post with the category shortcode, and it will display the category’s name, description, and all the events tagged with that category. If you are using the MER add-on, it will give the user an add-to-cart button below each sub-event.

Thanks Sidney.
I’ve bought Espresso and the Add-on now, and I’ve added categories and events, but somehow, if I click on the events, they don’t open and I always get error 404.
What can this be?

Hi,

Can you provide a link to the page listing all the events please?
