On a registration form I have the question, ‘I have read the policies page?’. This is a required radio button question with a yes or no answer. Is it possible to disable the forms Submit button unless the above question is answered with a ‘yes’?

Hello,

You can create a required question and a guest will need to complete it to continue with registration checkout.

Here is an example for a terms and conditions question:

Thanks but that doesn’t really answer the question. I know you can make a question required but I need to go a step farther and require that the correct answer is selected.

A question such as, “I have read and agree with the terms and conditions” could have a Yes or No answer. Answering No fulfills the requirment but I need to stop the registration unless the answer is Yes.

Is this possible?

Hello,

That isn’t available out of the box and would require custom coding to block registration if you are using a radio question type.

With a checkbox question, if you use the words “Yes, I agree” in the question and a guest checks it, then they are confirming that they understand your terms. Additionally, if they can only move forward with the registration if they check the box.

Thank you, sometimes the answers are so simply it’s hard to see.
A required checkbox question with “Yes, I agree” should work.
