Conditional price based on member status for multiple tickets

Hi there, I have a feature that I need on a new site coming up and wondering if Event Espresso can do it. For an event where there are tables of 10 for example, if one person purchases a whole table (10 tickets), can a special discount be applied automatically to the total order?

Secondly, if someone is purchasing 5 tickets for one event and fills in all the attendees information, is it possible to have emails sent to each person informing them that they have been registered?

To add to that, would it be possible for them to each pay separately? Ex. the person registering the table pays for their own ticket (1 out of 10). Then those people who were registered by that person each get an email saying they were registered, then a link that they click to pay for their own ticket?

I realize some of that might be wishful thinking, but just wondering if possible.

Thanks!

Hi there,

How are you today?

I’ll break down each section to make this easier to follow:

For an event where there are tables of 10 for example, if one person purchases a whole table (10 tickets), can a special discount be applied automatically to the total order?

You can do this using ‘graduated pricing’

So in the ticket editor you can set ticket qty min and max limits per ticket. So your standard tickets may be $10, but you can setup another ticket that has a min qty of 10, with a price of $9 (10% off) but the user can only select 10 (or more), like this – http://take.ms/DmkWg

When the user views those tickets on the front end it looks like this – http://take.ms/xRSb8

They are selecting a bundle in which you can set the price and qty to whatever you wish, would that work?

Secondly, if someone is purchasing 5 tickets for one event and fills in all the attendees information, is it possible to have emails sent to each person informing them that they have been registered?

Yes each registratn can receive an email stating they have been registered. However, not when the registration is pending payment, which leads onto your next question:

To add to that, would it be possible for them to each pay separately? Ex. the person registering the table pays for their own ticket (1 out of 10). Then those people who were registered by that person each get an email saying they were registered, then a link that they click to pay for their own ticket?

The primary registrant (the first users details) is the user EE expects to handle all payments. When a registration is pending payment, this user will receive an email stating they need to pay for the registration. EE does not currently allow for split payments so the primary registrant needs to handle them all.

The others users will not receive emails until their registration is ‘Approved’ (in other words it has been paid for) in which case they will get a Registration Approved emails with their details.

I think the best way to see this is to setup a demo event so you can see how this works, have you registered to Test Drive Event Espresso 4?
