Hi Guys,

I want to give some people a free pass to my seminar, how can I do that?

Does Event Espresso have a manual way for me to add attendees?

Or do I have to set up a ‘coupon code’?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers
Peter

Hi Peter,

Both are possible.

Manually adding attendees; Go to Event Overview, hover over the event in question, click attendees, at the top of the screen is a Add New Attendee button.

Promo codes: You can use the promotional codes to provide 100% discount as well. Be careful with this though as these are not one use only codes, so if they get into “the wild” you could be looking at unintentional free attendees.

The Social Coupon (formerly Groupon) addon provides one shot 100% discount codes.

Hi, I wanted to share an update for members that may see this support post. This feedback applies specifically to Event Espresso 4.

Here is a tutorial for creating admin-only tickets:

These tickets will be hidden on the front-end and will appear in the WP dashboard for manual registrations.

Update: There’s actually an add-on that allows for creating admin-only tickets that doesn’t involve any CSS hacks:
