completed payments showing as pending

Running the most current versions of EE4, MailChimp 4.4.5 and Promotions 4.8, and updated version of WP and all other plugins.

Completed payments are showing in the cart intermittently as pending.

There was a theme conflict post update with Genesis 2.2.6, I rolled back the update and the cart was working fine last night.

I went to run a test transaction to test the pending payment function for some of the payments that did not complete on the PayPal side and payments are completing on the PayPal side but not at EE and nothing has changed since it was working fine after the theme update was rolled back.

The sandbox is set up to process test transactions.

Both site have support credentials I can send DM.

Hi Maureen,

The updating of the transaction with the payment status depends on the PayPal IPN. Could you double-check that is enabled on your PayPal.com account?
