Hi Chris,
What version of Event Espresso are you interested in?
We have free versions of Event Espresso 3 and Event Espresso 4 available in the WP plugins directory that could be used for testing:

Hi Lorenzo
I have set up a trial version of EE4 decaf, it all looks very promising. The integration with SagePay is a big bonus. I take it that we can easily set the currency to sterling?
The only dilemma is that my client would like to use WPLOOK’s ‘Events’ theme in preference to one of the four that are supported. I’d like to know if you foresee any compatibility/integration issues with EE4.
I’m not able to install this theme on the test site.

Hi Chris,
Yes you can set the appropriate currency in EE4, choose the UK as country in the Organization settings and you can tweak the details of this via the Country tab settings.
The main issue I see with using any theme that brands itself as an “events” theme is a clash over the use of the “events” custom post type. Thankfully, EE4 has a setting that allows you to change the “events” slug to something else, and thus avoid any conflict.
If you tested on http://demoee.org, then no you can’t set a theme, though you can download the EE4 decaf from your accoutn page on eventespresso.com (scroll down to Free Downloads section and click the EE4 tab) and test locally with your theme.

Thanks for your update. We’ve reconsidered and will use the Vertoh theme which is supported.
I’ll try downloading Decaf as you suggest and test it locally.
