Company Name has an apostrophe in it. Shows up as Oilman's in emails

My client’s company name has an apostrophe in it. It shows up as Oilman's in the email “from” area. Do you know of a fix of some sort for this?

Ha! I tried to type it into the post but it put an apostrophe when I submitted. Please see the screenshot.

Hi Laura,

You can fix this by removing the [COMPANY_NAME] shortcode form the subject lines of the message templates, and replace with the actual company name text. The apostrophe will render correctly if it’s entered directly into the subject line field.

That doesn’t seem to be the problem. Here is the original screenshot again. I think it might be coming from the [CO_EMAIL] short code.

Here are a couple of screenshots of the full message. shot 1 shot 2.

I don’t see the [COMPANY_NAME] short code in the message at all.

Hi Laura,

If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings, what is set for ‘Organization Name’?

Hi Laura,

I just wanted to update this thread as we’ve been investigating this and have been able to reproduce locally, so now have a ticket to fix it.

The ticket is currently under review and if confirmed will then be sent for testing and included within EE core to be released.
