Hi there,
I’m having an issue where the events coming soon widget is not displaying on a custom post type.
I realize the standard reply is to deactivate all the plugins etc. etc. to find a conflict.
But , here’s the the thing…
The widget displays fine on that same custom post type when the publish status and visibility is set to private.
But when it is published to public the widget completely disappears.
Since the same plugins are running on that page for both I would guess it’s not a plugin conflict.
Any ideas how to resolve this?

Hi Jos,
If you enable WP_DEBUG does it show any error message where the widget should be loading?

Hi Jos,
Please can you try the disable all plugins route? I’m seeing no errors or obvious reasons why this is not working, so now we need to rule out a plugin conflict.
You may also wish to temporarily test with an alternative theme as I noticed the PageLines Widgetizer is in play here, not sure if that is affecting anything, but worth checking. You can use the Theme Test Drive plugin to test another theme without it affecting what your visitors see.
