I’m referring to the answer by @lorenzo-orlando-caum Collect the user’s billing address https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee-passing-email-for-name-in-stripe-detail/#post-209888 The problem with Stripe not capturing the registrants email address is fixed by enabling the the option “Collect the user’s billing address” in the Stripe Settings. We are not required to register the billing address of our customers, so we have not enabled this. However we would like their email address captured in Stripe. Will there be a problem with the Stripe transaction if we enable this setting in EE4 Stripe Settings and there is no billing address information available?
So I’m assuming with the above you don’t request the billing information on the registration form, that’s actually completely separate from the Stripe checkout so makes no difference.
