Hello, we want to allow past participants to access a pre-sale. Is there a way to control access to the ticket portal with a code?

Hi there,
Do the past registrants have a WP user account on the site? If so you could use the WP user integration add-on to give those users access to the ticket using a custom capability.
If not, you could set the event as password protected and send past participants the password via email.

Perfect, Password Protected event was the keyword. I assume that after pre-sale is over I can go and change it back to “public” without any issues?

That’s correct, it will just remove the password from the post.
