Code field on registration form in EE4?

Hello – we have an event coming up that is invite only. Invitees are supplied a code, which they then need to enter in order to register. I don’t see this field type in the registration form settings, unless I’m missing something. Is this possible or is there a work-around?

Hi mannadesign,

You can actually set this within the event’s settings. So when you’re on the event editor page you’ll see a “Visibility” setting in the upper right corner box. You can change that visibility setting to “Password protected”. Then you’ll set the code there then click OK.

Hi Josh – thanks for the quick reply. Would this password protect the entire event? I was just looking for the invitee to enter a code, similar to how a coupon code would work, except for a free event. Hope that makes sense.

It will password protect the entire event.
