Client Signed up for Wrong Event

I have a client that signed up for the wrong event.  I know that I can manually register them for the proper event.  However, I am wondering what will happen if I delete them from the event they signed up for.  The client paid a down payment for the event.  If I delete their registration from the event they signed up for, what (if anything) will happen to the down payment they made?  We are using EE payments through Pay Pal Pro?

Hi Sandy,

If you delete the user all data will be removed for them. The payment will still stand as it is through a separate system (PayPal Pro) so you would need to recreate the amount paid on the new attendee.

Alternatively you could try one of the Pre Release add ons, the Attendee Reassignment Addon which will allow you to move an attendee from one event to another.

As it is still in Beta, please back up your database before using (it shouldnt cause any issues, but its best to be safe about these things).
