We rely on the CSV export of registrations to get the information on our most recent registrations into a separate database. So that CSV export gets downloaded several times per week.
As time goes on and more and more registrations come in, the CSV export is getting increasingly unmanageable, since it includes all registrations from the beginning of time.
We have backups of all the data, so we thought we might delete all 2016 registrations and start fresh for 2017. However, I see that it is not possible to bulk trash registrations when they have payments attached (which most of them do).
I’m looking for advice on how to acheive the goal of obtaining a CSV export that is less bulky. Is there a method I haven’t come across yet for archiving registrations? Alternatively, it would be very useful if we could export a partial CSV export for a specific date range.
We’ve upgraded to 4.9.24.p and tested out the filtered CSV report, and it’s working as expected. I’m really glad to see this functionality; it will make our lives much easier.
You’re most welcome, I’m glad its working well for you 🙂
