Hi Dina,

I have only seen this happen previously when a template file has been modified either incorrectly or with some debug code left in. You will need to check the modified event_list.php and event_list_display.php to see if there is something outputting the event ID.

Hi Dina,

You have two template files in the uploads/espresso/templates folder, which are probably old templates moved for some reason.

If you go to Event Espresso > Template Settings and scroll to the bottom, you will see a Developers Only section.

It should list two files in green, it should look something like this http://take.ms/TrGp4

Click the Rename Templates Directory button. This will rename the directory and make the plugin use the default templates and it should resolve the number issue.

The old/modified files will remain in the uploads directory, in case you need them for any reason.

Hi Dina,

The code in event_list_display.php has changed since the last time we applied the customizations that add the display of event times for you. We usually require the purchase of a support token in order to maintain custom code. If that’s not an option, you can click the “Rename Templates Directory button” as Dean advised and that will remove the class number from the display and remove the event times there too.

We cant remove the times, we paid to have that put in by you guys, we did not ask for the number and it is confusing the customers. I am not sure why we would have to pay again to have that removed when we paid to have the time added not the numbers. Does that seem fair? I am happy to pay when we need customization you know that but this we did not ask for when we bought that.

Hi Dina,

We did not add the numbers, but the template files that we earlier modified are now outdated (which is why you’re seeing numbers now) and it needs to be maintained.
