clarification regarding registrations

I’ve got event with few dates and one ticket. Let’s say this is recurring event avery Sunday. I don’t see any option for visitor to choose at which date he’s buying the ticket (it seems to work on every date).

I’ve tried to buy such ticket, and all dates’ Sold counter was incremented.

Am I supposed to create different ticket for every date?

Yes, you need to create tickets that apply to specific datetimes.

So if you have say 4 datetimes and wish for users to register onto specific datetimes you’ll need to create a ticket for each datetime and then assigned the tickets to specific datetimes.

For example you may have a ticket setup like this – http://take.ms/xMSrG

Then if you click the cog for each individual ticket you can select which datetimes the ticket applies to – http://take.ms/lbdUN

The user can then select a ticket that applies to a specific date.

I see. So it looks that it will be simpler to duplicate events instead of managing dates inside, considering there are 2 tickets per event

Possibly yes, it all depends on how the event is set up.

We are looking to add options to the ticket selector so that the user can only see tickets for the date which they are actually looking to book onto, take a look here:

However that feature is currently not in development.
