I decided to go ahead an upgrade versions, but when doing so the actual drop down box to select which ticketing option the user would like to select is no longer present on the event’s page. I have custom css, but even when removing the custom css the drop down is not present.
Any thoughts?

Hi there,
Are there any templates from version 3.1.22.2 in the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory? If so, they may need to be updated as well. See this guide for more info if this is the case:

I apologize for not following up more immediately, but I had several other files to put out before coming back to this.
I dug through the files and found a note about how the dropdown is controlled through the members addon. Disabling and updating to the latest version of the member’s addon fixed the problem with the drop down not appearing.
