I guess many other clients struggle with the same problem as me.
When I post a new event many customers add tickets to their shopping cart but like to pay later on that day. Our events have limited tickets so many events are sold out immediately but in fact they are not. It takes a while before the spaces are available again, this misleads some customers as they think it is sold out and will not return to purchase later on.
Is it possible to think for future releases to have a timer during checkout that can be set? In my case I would like to have 30 minutes.
We already have a checkout time available for this 🙂
Go to Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Reg Form Settings.
Under ‘Session Settings’.
You’ll see the option to set ‘Session Lifespan’
And ‘Session Countdown Timer’
In your case set the session lifespan to Thirty Minutes and enable the countdown timer.
