Hi – my checkout notifications are coming up blank. I saw the prior thread mentioning that WEN’s Responsive Column Layout Shortcodes causes an issue but I am not using that plugin.

There are no console errors on checkout pages – is there any way to test this without deactivating plugins since the site is live?

The only way to test whether there’s a plugin conflict is by deactivating plugins. You can set up a dev/staging site and deactivate the plugins there.

You can test for a theme conflict without deactivating the theme by installing the theme test drive plugin. That might be a good first step to troubleshoot because if the issue is caused by the theme you’ll know right away if you’re test driving another theme and the notifications appear.

It’s a theme conflict. The theme authors ask:

“What I’d need to know from the plugin developers is what they’re passing through to the front end, and how, but before that, try the following.”

The theme is Stack –> https://themeforest.net/item/stack-multipurpose-wordpress-theme-with-variant-page-builder/19707359

Thanks.

Sorry, I tried what they recommended and it didn’t work, so I need a little input from you on what’s being fed so they can investigate further.

Hi there,

I can recommend they open an issue on Github and label the issue with “question” and they can post their questions there. Then the dev team can answer their questions.

I can see that on your site the notifications are displaying on the page with the ticket selector. For example, if you go to this page, then skip selecting a quantity of tickets and only click Register Now you’ll see the notification printed there. So a possible clue may be related to something different happening to the loop on a page post type with that theme.
