Hi there,

We can’t tell why that is happening from a screenshot.

Can you link to an event we can run a test registration on to view this?

How are you adding that registration question into the form?

It’s currently not set within a question group which is why its not aligned.

it is set to the “personal information” group just like the AGB. i dulicated the AGB and edited it- might this cause the error?

this didnt help. seems to be a bug in the plugin. when i put the questions up in the order its all aligned… any idea how to fix it?

I’ve just tested doing that to confirm it works (which it does).

Can you post a screenshot of both of those questions when editing them, please? I’d like to try and reproduce this.

Also, the second checkbox is essentially a GDPR confirmation, we have that built into Event Espresso already under Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Privacy -> Privacy Consent Checkbox

i know about the built-in gdpr confirmation – it just looks odd if AGB and gdpr look so different.

Yeah I can not (edit) reproduce this event with the same set up.

Can you post the contents of the descriptions fields for each of those questions.

Hmm, yeah again those are fine.

Try creating a new checkbox question and using that in place of the last question. I can’t see any reason for that checkbox to show outside of the question group if it is set to load within it.

I also just noticed now, that the page messes up my site configuration: the sidebar vanishes and is shown at the bottom… might this give a hint?

Have you altered any files within EE?

Are you loading any custom templates in EE?

Are you hooking into EE reg steps at all? I’ve seen you’ve posted using various hooks in other threads if you remove those does the same happen?

I can’t reproduce multiple checkboxes displaying like this.

Possibly, there are additional closing div tags because the personal info group essential closes twice which will throw the content of the page off.

If you enable WP_DEBUG on the site, are any error thrown on that page?

Without reproducing this I can’t say as I don’t know how it is happening.

The first step I recommend is re-installing Event Espresso through the plugin manager to confirm nothing happened with the upload.

Go to Dashboard -> Plugins.

De-activate and delete Event Espresso (none of your event/registration data will be lost)

Download the latest version from your account page again and install the zip through Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin.

Re-activate.

Same issue?
