Hey Guys!

Just went through my 2nd event with your system and it worked so much better than EventBrite on reliability. In the end, I had a few transactions that didn’t get marked as Completed and double and tripled some transactions.

Anyways, I had a suggestion on Check-In. Because I’m having to create a different Event for each Ticket Type due to the limitations on the Promotional Codes to discount only Events instead of Tickets, we have to select the Event first and then search for the person or scan them in. Would it be possible for you guys to make the following changes:

1. Check people in from the MAIN check-in page without selecting the event. This would save a TREMENDOUS amount of time! I would like to just go to the Check-In page, leave “active events” box checked, search for the name or scan or search by number, and then be able to check them in from THAT page.

2. Only show the active events on the main Check-in page. Right now, if we are searching for someone in the Check-in page, it displays ALL the past plus current events for this person. My assumption was to check the little box to display only current events but that box only works when using filters. Leave all past registrations under Overview…not check-in.

So in conclusion, the only issue we saw that held up our lines was flipping between each event to check people in…searching held us up. Simplifying the process with one main page by default and then filtering, seems much more efficient.

I have another group looking at your system. They seem highly impressed with the work I’ve been doing with your program. EE will be taking over the dance world soon! LOL!

Thank you!

Josh

Hi thanks for your suggestions.

The challenge with making your suggested change #1 is that will then allow people with tickets for a different event to be able to gain access to other events.
