Changing the word 'Tickets' to 'Entries'

I am currently using the EE4 version of event espresso on the WP4 platform as an entry manger for a tournament. My client would like to change the word ‘Tickets’ to ‘Entries’ and I am wondering if anybody is familiar with where I would look to try to make this change in the language displayed?

Hi Robin,

This sample code will make that change for you:

It can be added to your child theme’s functions.php file or a site specific plugin:

Thank you, that did it. There was one ‘ticket’ that remained though on an event page, in the table under what is now ‘Available Entries’. It reads ‘Free Ticket’. I tried to add ‘Free Ticket’ => ‘Free Entry’, to the code you provided, but with no luck.

Hi, could you share a link to that event?

Hi Robin,

That’s actually the name of the ticket and you can edit that within the Event Editor.

If you edit your event (Event Espresso -> Events -> *Event Name*, you will find something like this – http://take.ms/nODux

Simply change the name there.
