Can i change the output of a shortcode by using the custom files add on – copying the shortcode to their and adapting it?

Hello Nova,

Yes. That is one of the purposes of the Custom Files “add on”. I would recommend you change the shortcode itself also, so you can still use the one you will be modifying.
