Im working hard on translating EE to Swedish, but it’s a long way to go (not top priority just now…). The only thing i can’t dig out from the code is where to change the texts generated in the email shortcodes:

Google maps code [google_map_link], View payment [payment_url] and DL ticket [ticket_link]

Where can i find these bad boys?

I recommend using the find tool in poedit to find the text strings

The first one is Map and Directions

The second one is View Your Payment Details

The third is Download/Print Ticket

Is the Swedish translation of EE now fully translated or not? If I purchase a business license can I use EE in Swedish now?

Do you have any idea as to when it might be ready? I appreciate your hard work!

Hey Ivo,

if you head over to

You see the current status of the swedish translation, and the best thing is, there is a direct link to apply for being a translator, where you can contribute to the swedish translations 🙂

I translated Event Espresso into German myself, and i know i wanted a helping hand that time.

Best regards,
