Per the instructions on this page, I’m trying to change this text on the Thank You page:
Details about where to send payment is included on the invoice
I’m using the functions.php method, and it works for other text, but not this particular one. (PoEdit also didn’t have any effect on this text.) Any suggestions? Thanks!
P.S. The default text I’m trying to change contains a grammatical error (“Details … is …”).

Hi there,
Some strings are only translated during activation, after that, they are saved to the database and the saved string used for output so translations function no longer work on those specific strings, this is the case here.
However, any string that does the above will be available within a setting/template somewhere within EE and the above string is available within:
Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Invoice -> Confirmation Text
You can fix the string there and then save the settings in order for it to show correctly.
Thank you for reporting the error, I’ve created a ticket to have that string fixed in a future version of EE.

You’re most welcome.
There are plenty of settings within EE to go through and strings are easily missed so if you are ever unsure please do let us know.
