Hello,

Is there a way to use the excerpt (or another field) instead of the full description for the iCal file?

Hi there,

Sure, the iCal data is run through a filter so you can alter any of the fields:

FHEE__EED_Ical__download_ics_file_ics_data

We don’t have an example of changing the description but this snippet should help point you in the right direction:
