Hi,
I’m needing to update event URLs from the default version (EE 3.1.36.5P) to ones that will make sense to our users (eg. Name of Event). Running WP 3.9.1 One example is this event: http://maccjcc.org/event-registration/?ee=35 — I would like it to read http://maccjcc.org/event-registration/NancySharp or even, if possible, http://maccjcc.org/NancySharp. All the events for this festival are already created so I need a way to update them now. Thank you!

Hi,

By default it isn’t possible in EE3. You could create an event post and add the registration form to the post via a shortcode. It’s extra work but it could achieve what you are after. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#reg-page

EE4 uses custom post types for events so “pretty” permalinks such as the event name are possible, so long as they are set for the site.
