Are we able to change an event details after users have registered?

When we try to make changes to the event description, the datetime, or the author I get a Forbidden error message:
“You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/post.php on this server”

Not sure if the event is locked now or if this a server permissions issue.

I am able to edit the event details for newly created events, but any of the events that I’ve created 3 weeks ago, even those without event registrations can no longer be changed.

Any help is appreciated!

Thank you

Hi there,

This sounds more like a server config issue that an issue with Event Espresso, it sounds like editing posts over a certain time period are being caught by some form of security measure on the server (probably a mod_sec rule they have in place).

Have you contacted your hosting provider to have them investigate this? If so I’d recommend doing so, they can see within the server’s logs if your request is hitting their security.

Can you edit a standard page/post that is over 3 weeks old?
