Howdy, Looking for your input. We run chess classes at lunch times at schools and parents are registering online for their children. However, the app is showing the name of the parent (registration name) in the attendee list. Is it possible to have the student name (also a compulsory field in the registration process) showing as the attendee? Regards Sabrina |

Hi Sabrina, It is possible, however, EE wasn’t designed to use a separate ‘purchaser’ from the attendee so you need to work around some features a little. For the child to show up as the registrant, their details need to be entered into the 3 default system questions in the Personal Information group (First Name, Last Name and Email). I had a quick look at your registration form and you’ll need to change the ‘First Name’ question to be the Student First Name, ‘Last Name’ to Student Last name’ and the ‘Student Name’ question to be the ‘Parents name’. However, I noticed your not collecting additional student names, do you not need that info or would you like to know more on how you can setup EE to collect it? Right now if a user selects 4 tickets for a single club, they will all show up under the same name. |

Hi Tony, Thank you very much for your assistance, muc appreciated! I am only new to the system and am learning as I go. I have now made the change to the form. It has not updated the previously registered applicants, but it is moving working moving forward. I would really like to know how to collect the multiple names. And if you have any recommendations around lay-out of the long list of schools (and how I can get that filter actually working, that would be appreciated. Sabrina |

My apologies for the delay getting back to you. To be able to collect just one set of ‘Parent info’ and then the ‘Player info’ (Personal Info group) for each ticket, you’ll need to break out your questions into 2 groups. Player info (the Personal Info group) will only have the student questions (note you will need o collect an email address for each student) Parent info (a custom question group) collects the details for the parent, let’s say Parent First Name, Parent Last Name, Parent Email (these are all custom questions). Then in the event, you select the Parent and Player groups for the primary registrant and only the Player info for additional registrants. Before you start changing your site around for this, here’s an example of how it would work: https://demoee.org/tonytesting/events/chessclub-example/ Will that work for you? |

I’m not sure which list/filter you are referring to, can you link me to the page you are viewing? |
