Changes are not made to invoice text

I’m trying to change the translated text in the invoice PDF. I’m doing this by downloading the .PO file from /wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages/event_espresso-nl_NL.po

I’ve changed the translations of these two strings and then uploaded the .MO back to the same folder (see below).
1) Please send this invoice with payment attached to the address above, or use the payment link below. Payment must be received within 48 hours of event date.

2) Please send Invoice to the address below. Payment must be received within 48 hours of event date.

Nothing gets changed after downloading an invoice from the back-end. Why?

Hi Joshua,

You can alter both of those phrases from within Event Espresso -> Payment Settings -> Invoice Settings – http://take.ms/1mGOI

I think those strings from within the PO file are intended for when EE is initially installed as that is when the Invoice settings are created/saved.

Ok thanks. Got it.

Do I need to set the changes made in the PO file back to original or doesn’t this effect anything?

No you can leave those as is, they should not effect anything.
