Change URL in Event Table and Calendar, But Still Host Registration

I have an event for which the primary page is not the registration page. I need the listings in the Event Listing and Calendar to link to the standard page instead of the registration page. That page will link to the registration page. Note that I am not hosting the registration elsewhere, so the alt reg url will not work. Can you advise?

Hi Matthew,

If you create an event, then it will appear in the events table view template and the events calendar.

The flow for a registration is to lead attendees/registrants to the single event page so they can start a registration by selecting a pricing option and clicking Register Now to start registration checkout.

Is this a display only event where you do not need any registration information? If so, then try turning off the ticket selector via the event editor (top right area).

If you are wanting to keep the URL (e.g. link in the events calendar) but route to another page, then you could use a plugin like Redirection to redirect that page. However, there won’t be a way for them to register for the event through Event Espresso.
