I’m using the Add to Cart button which works great for users to add classes that they want to sign up for then they pay all at once. However, the link in the calendar goes to a different registration page, how can make the calendar link go to the “Add to Cart/View Cart”? |
The link in the calendar goes to the event registration page. Where are you using the Add to Cart shortcode? If you’re using custom post types, there is an option in the calendar settings to send the calendar links to the espresso event post type post. You can also set an alternate registration URL on the event to whatever page you are using to display that event that will work for the calendar (but I can’t guarantee it won’t mess up your event list if you are using one). |

I’m not using the event list, I’m doing this on my page, http://www.freshmadenyc.com/cooking-classes/ the calendar page, located here… http://www.freshmadenyc.com/class-calendar/ is the problem. If you try and register for the Family Dinner on Thursday it goes to a registration page which doesn’t function properly, the option dropdown at the top shouldn’t be there and I can’t get rid of it. Another problem is that I prefer the “Add to Cart” function over coming directly to this page, would rather the calendar “Add to Cart” is this possible? Thanks so much for the help. |

September 10, 2012 at 11:38 am Being able to choose the URL for the Calendar is something I’d like to change as well. Currently, we are using the Event Posts ability of EE heavily. We would like to use the Calendar add on as well. Unfortunately, by default, the links in the Calendar go to the Registration Page. Upon changing the “Link to Post or Registration Page” to “Post”, the permalink to the post is overwritten by the Alternate Registration Page URL. |
That’s unrelated to the Link to Post or Registration Page setting. That’s default behavior for the alternate registration URL which overrides everything else. If you don’t want that to happen, just remove the alternate registration URL. |
