Change payment method on Invoice / Order Confirmation

Currently when a registratant pays by card, the payment type on their invoice shows as “Stripe”. Is there a way to change this to say “Credit/Debit Card” or just “Card”?

Hi there,

That output is the payment method name, so yes you can, but to do so you’ll need to set the ‘Name’ of the Stripe payment method to ‘Card’.

To do that go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Stripe.

Change the Name field to ‘Card’ and save.

You’ll notice that the ‘Stripe’ heading now also changes to ‘Card’.
