Change page title in Event Listing page

Hi,

Where can I edit the Title in the default Event Listings page. My language config is set to Spanish, but I can’t find the current translation for this title anywhere.

Right now it displays “Eventos Archivos” (Events Archive?) but none of this terms are located in the .PO file.

Hi there,

The reason you can not find that string in the PO file is because its not actually Event Espresso that is outputting that to the ‘page’, its your theme.

The events listing page (by default its /events/) is actually an archive of Event Espresso posts. So whats happening is your theme is likely using its ‘archive.php’ template file which is outputting ‘Events Archive’ in the title.

To fix this you’ll need to modify the theme’s template file, is this a purchase theme or custom built? Are you using a child theme?
