Hello,
I’m using Event Espresso 4.8.16.p. https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/16aac08f099d7c154f04 and the option ‘Use Custom Display Order’ is not showing so I can change the display order of the fields when viewing the details of an event. Could you advise ?

Hello,
Editing templates via custom files isn’t needed to make that change.
1) Update to a current version of Event Espresso 4. You can see a changelog since your version here:
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/
2) If you have added any custom templates, then rename the files to deactivate them
3) Go to Event Espresso –> Events –> Templates and then turn on the custom display option and immediately save. Then you can use the drag and drop to select your preferred order
Note that there is a drag and drop for the events listing page as well as the single event pages.
