Change generic text in external link

The external link provides the text:
Registration is at an external URL for this event.

I would like to change that text.

Hi,

That specific text string, and any others that are wrapped in esc_html__(), can be changed by using the gettext filter. The documentation includes an example code snippet that shows how to use that filter:
