Change featured image size?

I created a custom featured image size that I want to use but I don’t see anywhere that I would be able to pull in this image…

Anyone have any suggestions as it uses $meta[‘event_thumbnail_url’]

It seems like if you inserted the post_meta id as the event_thumbnail_url that would make more sense… You could then use get_post_meta to get the size you wanted from the meta_value. But since they don’t have any relation after this I don’t see anyway to get any other size than what you are inserting into the event details meta column.
