Dear support team,

After migrate to a new server and update to the latest version of EE the Attendee Mover plugin works not correctly. When I would change a ticket, the error message appears: The result could not be loaded.

Al the plugins and WordPress have updated to the latest version.

This is the website: https://events.lemion.nl

Look forward to your help.

Kind regards,
Carolien

Hi there,

That usually means there is an error being thrown on the ajax request.

Is this happening on Step 1 when selecting an event?

Hi Tony, Yes indeed, on step 1.

Can you try some basic troubleshooting?

let’s start with plugin conflict or theme conflict.

Can you install https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ or any similar plugin.

You can do the above using Troubleshooting mode:

Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting -> Enabled Troubleshooting mode.

That will disable all plugins and switch to a default theme and then allow you to enable specific plugins for troubleshooting. Once disabled you will revert back to the current state.

You can also use this plugin to test theme conflict.

After that test, if we still can’t determine any conflict, you have to enable the WP DEBUG then let us know if there’s any error you did catch.

here’s the some guidelines
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/

thanks.

Thank you for the updates!

After using the healtcheck plugin, al plugins are disabled, but the problem still exist. With WP Debug, I get no errors….

Do you have other actions to do?

Best regards!

Thank you, so the issue here relates to using index.php within Permalinks.

Do you need index.php within your URLs?

Hi Tony,

Ok, so when the permalinks are changed, the problem will resolved? Then I will make a url redirect list, so all event websites will go to the right url.

I will let you know if this is finisched.

Regards!

Ok, so when the permalinks are changed, the problem will resolved?

Yes, when permalinks no longer use /index.php at the beginning of the URL it should fix the REST API, which in turn firsts the Attendnee mover (as it uses REST).

Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks.

Remove /index.php from the permalink structure you are using.

Then I will make a url redirect list, so all event websites will go to the right url.

The EE event URL’s should not change, other posts on your site may.
