Change date format

Hi, I am using the EE4 Events Table View and editing the espresso-events-table-template.template.php. Within that page I’d like to change the date to read Tuesday, July 3 rather than July 3, 2017. However, I can’t seem to find the location to change the php date format. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hi Tommy,

That’s on line 3 of that file:

$date_format = get_option( 'date_format' );

If you haven’t reviewed this already:

It’s recommended to place a copy of the template file into a WordPress child theme.
