Hi

I was just looking to clean up a bunch of expired events and was wondering whether there is any way to delete and event that will also clean and registrations, transactions, etc, that go along with it. Basically I want to avoid the situation where we leave years worth of user data from past events just sitting in EE.

It was asked for EE3 here (https://eventespresso.com/topic/cleanly-deleting-events-and-attendees/) and I was wondering whether such an action is possible in EE4.

Hi Stephen,

There isn’t currently a bulk removal feature since the information is linked. However, you can remove payments via the database and that will then allow you to permanently delete events:

Thanks for that, I guess this will be our workaround for now.

The hope of such a feature would be that it does in fact remove all of that information after an event is done and relevant information archived outside of EE.

Is there any plan to provide the ability to do this kind of routine maintenance, such as bulk deleting of transactions, registration info, etc, from within EE itself.

Hi,

Not currently but it’s a great idea so I will add it to our feature request list.
