None of the events continue to paypal with MER activated. I’ve looked through the forum and seen a few fixes for this. The difference – I don’t have a certificate to run https. Everything in the inspector says http. When I installed WP HTTPS it just broke the site. I do have Super Cache installed but I still have the same problem if I turn it off. What else can I try to get the pricing of the events to work?

Hi Kevin,

I assume it is the WP Super Cache plugin? If so please go to Settings > WP Super Cache > Advanced tab > Accepted Filenames & rejected URIs

The box with the text that starts “Add here strings (not a filename) that forces a page…” add the word events on a new line and save.

Then go to the Easy tab and click the Delete Cache button.

This *should* whitelist the event espresso pages and force a cache clear (just disabling the plugin doesnt necessarily clear the cache).

If not, try Delete Cache and then disable the WP Super Cache plugin and test again.

A note to future readers: the use of the string “events” is specific to Kevins site, so you may need to add in a different string.

I tried adding the string – It still did not update the price. I deleted the cache and deactivated the super cache plugin. It still did not update the price. Any other ideas?

Hi Kevin,

It may help to reactivate the WP-super-cache plugin, then turn caching off it its settings.

WP super cache sets some .htaccess rules to serve cached files and they’ll serve cached files even if WP super cache is deactivated.

Can you also try it with the Facebook social plugin deactivated?

That didn’t work. But I started turning off plugins and it looks like YouTube SimpleGallery is the culprit. I’ll try to replace it, but let me know if you have any other suggestions as a work around.

Thanks!

You might find another video gallery plugin that doesn’t cause conflicts here:
