Hello, I have had a number of complaints that users with credit cards using international billing addresses (not U.S.) are getting the following error:
“This transaction cannot be processed. The Merchant’s account is not able to process transactions.”
This is a problem as we are promoting a conference in The Netherlands. Please advise as soon as possible. Thank you.
The error message you posted in your original reply is usually from PayPal Pro.
Looking on your site you have Mijireh, PayPal Express and PayPal Pro all activated, the ‘generic credit card option’ you mentioned could be multiple different payment methods within EE but looking at your site its PayPal Pro.
For more information on that specific error, you’ll need to contact PayPal as its an issue on their end.
Do you need all 3 of those online payment methods active?
