Hi I am trying to upload the plugin in wordpress. I downloaded the free verision to see if I want to buy the real version. It is giving me the error “”The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.””

I have no idea what I am doing…. How much php memory does event espresso need? Do I try changing this in WordPress or do I have to go to 1&1 to resolve this? My host told me I have 90MB of memory… is that enough?

Help! and thanks

Jen

Hi Jen,

You can try entering this into your wp-config.php file that is in the root directory of your WordPress installation (via FTP).

/* Increase PHP Memory Limit */
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M' );

If that does not correct it, you will likely need to contact your hosting provider. However, 90M should be sufficient.

Let us know if you have anymore issues with it.
