cant upload images for the event or general setting

Hi

I cant ad an images in EE, the rest of the website has no problems but when i try to ad say a featured image for an event it just stalls with a white screen and nothing happens.

I am using WordPress 3.8.1

Do you see the same issue if you temporarily disable all plugins and then reactivate Event Espresso?
