Hi , Im not able to do automatically update through the wp-admin . In the plugin settings Im getting this message : Thanks |
Hi, Your license key has been reset. Please go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Remove the license key (cut) and save the settings, replace the license key (paste) and save the settings once more. Be sure to check for any white space before/after the key when pasting. You should then able to update. |

Thanks! That worked, but now in the plugin list the message for the plugin has gone . I have Version 3.1.28.2.P | |

We’ve made some significant changes to the update library since that version number. Can you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Just hit Save. Does the update message then appear once again within the Plugins list? If not you may need to update manually on this occasion, we have a guide post here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/updating-event-espresso/#update_manually |

After the Save button now again Im getting the message “You have the correct Support License Key for Event Espresso but your account only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain.” I will do manually update . Which version do you suggest to update ? I would like the latest 3.x version instead 4.x but will it work with Wordrpress 4 ? Thanks |
Looks like this is due to the changes made from between that version number and now. Once you have updated EE I will reset your license once again to remove the message.
This depends on your requirements. EE3.1.36.5 will work with WP4.0 but if you would like to update to EE4 that will also work with 4.0. Do you currently use Promotional codes? The members Add-on? Or in fact any of the EE3 Add-ons? EE4 does not currently have Promotional code functionality and none of the EE3 Add-on’s are compatible with EE4. So it depends on your current requirements. If you can list the Add-on’s you currently use I’ll be happy to provide more information. |

Can you please help me how to check which Addons Im using ? |
If you go to Dashboard -> Plugins. You’ll find a list of all the Plugins your site is using. Any EE plugins will have ‘Event Espresso’ within the name. |

Thanks, |
Hi Ester, It’s important to only use one of the Event Espresso plugins, which means you should deactivate the Lite version. You can use the latest version of Event Espresso 3 (currently 3.1.36.5.p) with WordPress 4. If you’d prefer to use Event Espresso 3 that’s fine. |
