Since the latest updates we are not able to uncheck an “Assigned Ticket” from an “Event Datetime”. It keeps giving the following error: “The ticket you are attempting to unassign from this datetime cannot be unassigned because the datetime is the only remaining datetime for the ticket. Tickets must always have at least one datetime assigned to them” This error message is not correct because we do meet these conditions. There seems to be some sort of bug since the last updates. Also the WYSIWYG editor toolbar styles are not displaying correctly and are showing a combination of Text and oversized icons that covers the text editor space. Cheers |

Hi Dave,
Starting with this one, I assume you are using the Advanced Editor Tools plugin: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/ And it’s those icons which are not displaying correctly?
Are you using the EE events advanced editor or legacy? Go to Event Espresso -> Events -> Default Settings. set ‘Activate Advanced Editor?’ to Advanced editor and save. That will switch you to the ‘new’ editor within EE5, same issue there? |

Hi Dave, Is the above loading within an EE route or outside of it? As in are you editing an event or in another location? |

Hey Tony, Original setup before the latest Major EE update was: Major update released by EE and introduced a bug that is the main topic of this thread which causes and issue linking tickets to the correct “Event Datetime”. I see a few other threads on the forum where users have had the same problem. The solution to fixing this bug is to stop using the Legacy Editor and switch to the Advanced Editor. Doing this does indeed fix the ticketing bug that your Legacy Editor now has, but in doing so your Advanced Editor breaks the Fusion Page Builder and with it our clients ability to create better layouts on their event pages that had been working fine. Is it possible to get an update that will fix the issue with the Legacy Builder? Because simply saying switch to the Advanced Builder because there is a bug in the Legacy is causing a much bigger issue now as some clients could have 100’s of events all styled using Fusion Page builder. I hope this gives enough detail on the issue and chain of events. If you have any questions that might help resolve the issue, please let me know. Cheers |

Hi there, My apologies for the delayed reply, I’ve done a poor job of keeping you in the loop here. To explain a little I’ve been waiting on an update for a fix for this but as it stands I don’t have one other than to revert back to version 4.10.46 whilst we investigate further. I was waiting to reply once I’d confirmed a fix for this would be included in the next update we push out for EE5 but again did a poor job of letting you know what I was doing so hold my hands up there. The next update to EE5 will not include a fix for this so for the time being I recommend reinstalling version 4.10.46 which I’ll include in a post after this one. |

Hey Tony, Hopefully this is possible? Again thanks for the update, very much appreciated. Cheers |

Hi Dave, We managed to track down the bug for this and held the release for a little to get it included in 5.0.4 The issues with the Datetimes assignments within the legacy editor should now be fixed, please do let me know if you have further issues. Note if you don’t see the update available on your site go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Make no changes and just hit save to force an update check. |
