I am not able to save or create new categories. When filling out the category fields, and clicking submit, I always get an error that says “the category has not been saved.”

That’s strange. Have you updated recently? Can you check the error logs on your server and in your wp-admin folder to see if there are any errors being recorded that relate to this?
Thanks, Seth. Updating fixed the problem. I was assuming that the plugin would auto-update, and didn’t realize that I have to manually download and update the new version.
