Hi: We created an Event and the event is live, looks fine, but We Cant add to cart.

Hi there,

Go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages.

Does each of the pages show ‘Page Status OK’ and ‘Shortcode OK’?

What page is set for ‘Registration Checkout Page’?

Ok, but I navigate to that page I get an empty page, which isn’t expected.

Looking in the source code for the page I can see you have caching enabled, does it work if you clear the cache and then temporarily disable it?

Hi: I think we found the problem – the available ticket must be set to a minimum of 7 hours prior to the local time that we are creating the ticket. Also, we do have the shortcode in our registration page. Here is a screenshot https://prnt.sc/w0k7sa

I think we found the problem – the available ticket must be set to a minimum of 7 hours prior to the local time that we are creating the ticket.

That’s not normal, or expected.

Have you tested the default ticket selector rather than your custom version? Use [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=xxx] on a page and test a registration from that.

Also, we do have the shortcode in our registration page. Here is a screenshot https://prnt.sc/w0k7sa

I understand that as EE wouldn’t short the Shortcode status as OK if that wasn’t present. However, that checkout page is still cached and needs to be excluded, see:
