Can't register after publishing event

I published an event and set the sale starts to yesterday and the “sell until” to next week. I can see the event but no registration for it. Probably I forgot to set up something. But what?
personal information, event published, location added, questions prepared, payment active (only invoice active)… everything is set up correctly. What else? Is there a check list somewhere?

Maybe I don’t see the ticket selector because the event was private at first?
